Mara,

The '57 Chevy was one of the most beautiful cars they ever made. This one is in outstanding shape.

Wow! This brings back the good old days. My very first car was a 57' Chevy. I wish I would have kept it. Great restoration job.

Haven't see a convertible '57 in ages. If it's yours, do you get to take it out and "exercise" it? Beautiful ride!

I remember these cars well and look at those huge steering wheels. The gas cap was behind the rear fin. A convertible no less. Very cool Mara. You'll have to take me for a spin in it. Wouldn't that be a hoot?!!

Randall - it really gets the engine going, hey?

Kevin - It does seem to be an unusual name...I think it means 'Chevy 57 in heaven' LOL!

Richard - I noticed that too...It's in better shape than I am and we're the same age!

Michael - that's amazing you had a car like this...what a ride that must have been!

Tony and Darcy - Thanks for stopping by and enjoying the ride :-)

Tony - I do think it has a price tag...but wouldn't you rather buy one of my listed houses? :-)

Lynn - I don't even take myself out to exercise...c'mon now :-)

Cynthia - come to think of it, those stars are the same recipe as the bears...I'm going to find it for you...it's on my list :-)

Chad - I really fell in love with this color. It's perfect in every way!!

Gary - Ok then... we will take a spin and return with a full tank ;-)

Awesome car, Mara! It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. I had two '56 Chevy's, but never a '57. And I never could decide which i liked best - the '55, '56, or '57. They were all classics.

Thank you for sharing.

Mara,

Cool car!  I remember the '57 Chevys.  Those were great.  At least everything in the engine is accessible and easy to work on.

A great looking Chevy...and I like the color blue.  Chevys were popular cars in my younger days.

I love that car!  Used to have a similar one.

The 4th of July is a big thing in our little town of Southport NC.  It is the place for the official parade for North Carolina.  But for everyone to enjoy.

Wish you were here.
