Tip to Save Money

Cell Phone While showing homes for sale in Sacramento and waiting for the home buyer to meet me at the house I found some information that will save you some money if you call 411 and get charged for those information calls.

Google has a nationwide information source that is absolutely FREE. It works on cell phones and landline phones.

Program it into your phones and save some money...we all need to save as much as we can and every little bit helps.

Google 411 is great, got it programmed myself and use it all the time!

Hi Gena, I did a post about one of these , I think it was this one gromn Google, several months ago and it bears repeating often, the more we use our data phones , the more we actually need the free 411 service. It is also a great marketing card to send out to your past clients. I use Sharper Agent services for drip marketing and intend to do that very soon. Thanks again for this great reminder and I hope everyone on the Rain has it stored on their phone or at least in the head for quick recall. Love the photo and the way you made this post look. Wonderful!

I love Google 411, I remember hearing about it sometime in early 2008 when it was first starting out. It was a little spotty at first, but it is a great service and I use it all the time now.

Google is GREAT. Nice feature to use.

Hi Gena. Well the idea sounded great but unfortunately the Google Guy doesn't understand the pronounciation of Hawsaii city names. Because of that, I wasn't successful in getting any phone numbers in my test call. But I'm sure it's great on the mainland and perhaps I'll get the chance to use it there.

I love this feature too . . . what I really like about it is that it will connect you to the number as well for no charge. I use it all the time while in the car as it really saves on writing/dialing! Good for you for passing on the news!

Hi, Thanks for sharing I just added to my phone book. I also would like to recommend Google maps on your pda phones. I don't have GPS and my provider charges additional so with google you can map your current location and also if you need help with driving directions.

Margaret, yes that feature is terrific. Something that I have in my car that I find useful is on the visor and it's a white board with a pen attached and an attached mechanism that when moved left to right erases what I write. A good thing to have while driving to jot down an MLS # someone calls about etc.

I use Goog-411 fairly frequently. Sometimes it can be frustrating and sometimes it is funny when the computer comes up with a listing completely unrelated to your query. It saves me a lot of money though, which is a good thing.

Thank you - it is in my phone! I can't remember how many times I have called 411, got the wrong number, called them back to tell them and got charged again! And still had the wrong number - go figure!
