Home Inspections

What will we find, during your Home Inspection?

I would like to ask Real Estate Agent's. Have you ever had one of your client's ask you, if a Home Inspection is really that necessary?

Have you ever made the statement; well the home is only ___ years old.

Have you ever offered to take your client's on a show and tell trip, up in the stifling heat of an attic space?

Well I've been up there in the attics of many homes over the years. And I have brought you back proof, that your answer should be, yes. I sure can not emphasize this enough! The answer should be Yes, you do need to have a Home Inspection.

Wheres the Joist Hangers

Howdy there Mr. Jones, Marey

Glad to have both of you stop by to visit, and to read your comments. Here at my little ole Blogging Homestead, my friends

Mr. Jones - Thank you for being the first one to leave a comment. I'm glad you and the others, at your office. Let your client's know, having a Home Inspector is something they should do.

Marey - Thank you, It's sure is important for Home Buyers to have the home Inspected, that they are wanting to buy. Even if they feel, no major items are found. A Home Inspection is so worth, the price of the Inspection.

Dale - It is hard to imagine someone not having the home inspected. As much as you hear on the TV and read in magazines and in the news these days having a home inspection is now part of the purchase process. Home Inspections are a good thing - not because I'm a home inspector - I know the value of the service to the consumer.

Howdy there Steven, Carl and Ceil, Kathleen

Glad to have each of you. Stop by to visit, and leave a comment to read. On this post, here at my little ole Blogging Homestead, my friends

Steven - you are right. The answer to a Home Buyers question, if they need to have a Home Inspection. Should always be yes, yes, you do.

Carl - I asked this question, because, I've been having folk's tell me. When they call to talk about having a Home Inspection. That they were told they really did not need to have one. Just like you and myself, the VA also know's the value of the service for Vet's. When they are buying a home.

Kathleen - you are very right, Home Buyers do always want to have the Home they are looking at to buy. Want to have it Inspected. Thank very kindly. You may not say that, if you seen the way it's snow like there won't be a tomorrow. Here right now.

Dale had to come by and ready some of the comments from others on this one. So many positive comments are good. Good for the consumer's protection and good for the seller. Education and the reasons why are beginning to be established on the Importance of the Home Inspection.

I see we have some new badges this a.m. but now the photo's are missing. I like what they are doing.

Dale - Came back to add one additional comment. Consumer's realize the importance but bulk at the price of a few hundred dollars; and may not realize the long term value of the service. We still need to continue education and explanation of why sometimes cost is higher depending on he size of the property and what all goes into that particular property inspection. Example: Small three bedroom home with 1-1/2 bath on slab will differ from a 100 year old home with underneath crawl space etc. or a new 6,000sq. ft. home with hot tub, additonal A/C's etc. I price each property depending on that particular property, square footage and number of items from questions asked before I quote a price.

Hey Dale,

I always stress the importance of a home inspection, no matter how old or new a home is.  Sometimes they don't want to spend the money, but I quickly show them that money spent is well worth it!

Howdy there Frank

Glad to have you come by to visit, and have you leave one of your fine comments. Here at my little ole Blogging Homestead, my friend

You always do a real fine job of looken out for your client. With the way things cost to fix now a days, a Home Inspection really does not cost that much, to give a family peace of mind about the home they want to buy.
