Almaden Valley has seen a continuing increase in its inventory. While Almaden seemed almost immune to the down market in many ways, the latest numbers are showing that even this desireable area is being hit by current market conditions. We had a big increase in the number of sellers putting their homes on the market in January. Worse, sales were the worst on record for ANY January, going all the way back to 1999.
