Thank heaven! I was hoping for a "WW" as I scanned thru blogs. Those colors are particularly beautiful...are they true colors? WOW!
Yes, what a beautiful picture. So different from the gloomy, snowy, cloudy Michigan day we are having.
Thats a great picture, thank you for sharing.... Here in Florida we are just flat lands, with swamps!!
That is an absolutely breathtaking picture! I love the reflection on the water and the play with colors!
I remember the boat ride on Lake Mead it was a beautiful day and you captured it in this photo.
Michael: Glad to be of service, those WW blogs are fun to check out! Yes, true colors, no trick photography - nature supplies the best subjects.
I miss Lake Mead. Great color. I love the way the sky gets picked up by the water in the very bottom.
Bonnie—Goregous colors and the glass-like water is so inviting. Great nature photo!
Dawn: You are right about that! We don't get much sunshine when it is snowing! But snow is moisture and the desert sure doesn't get much moisture.
Tal: We have hills but nothing like these. Ours are usually green and filled with trees.
Terry: It was a gorgeous day in a gorgeous place.....and we had good friends with us. How much better does it get?
Thanks April, you never know what you get until you get home and take a look.
Bonnie - That's a very special looking landscape. I like the blue of the water against the warm colors of the hills.
Beautiful Bonnie ... to me it looks calm and serene rather than wild, but that is art!
Edit... well duh you meant wild as in untamed... missed my coffee this morning.
Myrl: Thanks for commenting, the colors were so vibrant out in the desert - must be the sun!
Vicki: Yes, that is the wild I meant. I sure wouldn't want to be lost out in that terrain.
