The Convenience of Working from Home
Gloria Bridges is from a large family of talented and creative people who specialize in many types of crafts. Her sisters can take parts of this and pieces of that and create exquisite masterpieces to retail to the public in high fashion. Her brothers can negotiate, tailor or remodel anything to turn a tidy profit.
Gloria discovered her talent in ceramics over 20 years ago, in a pottery class at the Nashville Institution of the Centennial Park Community Center. She expanded the process, adding beads, shells, rope and fabric to her pottery, and later incorporated a line of beaded jewelry.
In 2007, she started her own business, GWB Design, LLC. She teaches Jewelry Bead Design classes for Wayne County Community College District. She has participated in shows at Pewabic Pottery in Detroit, WCCC Downriver Campus in Taylor, Christ the King Holiday Bazaar in Southgate and other private residential shows in Tennessee and Michigan.
Gloria will share the secrets to her home business success at the Business Opportunity Round Table. This is a free event, open to the public.
