The Mint Museum of Art is housed in what used to be the first branch of the US Mint. The building, which was moved from the center of the city of Charlotte, is now located in the Elizabeth/Myers Park area. The Museum opened in 1936 and houses a permanent art collection with a timeline from the Ancient America period to the Colonial America period to present day America. There is SO much to see--among the displays are one of the best ceramics collections in the US, an extensive historic costume collection and artifact from around the world that was donated for your viewing and appreciation.

Innovative and family friendly, the Billy Graham Library facilitates visitors who can experience state-of-the-art exhibits, multimedia displays, films and much more! The complex, built on the former Graham dairy farm was built and designed to appeal to those visitors seeking sprituality, research, history and sheer beauty. The Graham family home place, a bookstore and a dairy bar are included in the complex.
Admission is FREE and the complex is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 - 5:00.
