I am extremely new to Twitter - this is cool, I do use Tweetdeck but still find the amount of postings overwhelming. I am sure I will get the hang of it, but it is quite daunting! I do love the ping.fm application, this allows you to update all your social media in one ping!

Erin - Tweetdeck frustrated the heck out of me when I first started using it...now I don't know how I would live without it. It makes the functionality of Twitter SO much better.
Karen - you must have the best google alert in the world - mine don't show up for days sometimes. And yes I did, I have gotten a heck of an education from your blog and think you have the most blessed students in the world.

Michelle, I read your post last week, went over did the search. Then sent in all of it to the company to have a T shirt made for ReTechSouth.

Then I get a note from them saying something violated copyright.
So I shot off an email and found out someone used the Twitter logo and Michigan State as their profile pictures.
I was BUMMED.
Thanks! This place is sooo cool and I'm really amazed at how many people are following me on Twitter and adding me on facebook and MySpace....I've also met some really great friends on here and even got in touch with people from school that found me out there. I am happy to be on ActiveRain but am still new so haven't met many people here yet... :-) Wendy
I do love Activerain as well as Twitter and Facebook. Activerain gets us to know each other and build friendships and Twitter and Facebook are the quick conversations that keep that friendship going. (I wanted to thank you for your kind words and prayers today that helped keep our family going in our time of need, believe me they were heard!)
