The Lost TapesI just found a new show on television, called the Lost Tapes.  Have you seen it yet?  It's on the Animal Planet Tuesday evenings at 10pm CT.  They advertise it as:

"where fact meets fiction,
science meets legend and
where nightmares come to life".

The premise of the show is that there are many animals out there that haven't been discovered.  They take tapes that people have made (some of the LITERALLY at their own peril) and via crypto-zoology, try to determine what undiscovered species it could be.

One show had two young teenagers and I believe a 9 year old.  The nine year old injured himself (broken leg & couldn't walk) and the other two had to go back for help. Long story short, the injured one disappeared and was found the next morning a half a mile away from where he was left.

Fascinating show!  I highly recommend it.

Justin - you'll love it.  Definately addictive.

David - I know, it is creepy.  My husband complains because I like to watch what he calls "Murder, Death, Kill" in bed before falling asleep.  It gives me nightmares.

James - Isn't Tivo an awesome thing?  It's great watching a one hour show in 40 minutes. HUGE timesaver.  I'm also embarassed to say how many TIVO's we have.... LOL  Really, I'm not a TV junkie.....
