That is a very grand place. Im sorry I missed seeing it the years I lived there. But I never went to Hearst Castle either... I tended more to Morro Bay park and beaches and Sequoyia or Yosemite for sightseeing. Nothing is grander than hiking up the falls at Yosemite and looking out thru that mist.
Endre, I see you have a new little raindrop now... I guess we finally made it to the pictures parts. :)
Hi Endre:
That must be beautiful inside. Just by looking at the exterior architecture of that structure!
Gail, I see you are moving up in the world of AR two recognitions? Is that like in the millitary an award?LOL .Anyway it is never too late to visit:))
Toula, Just as an example inside, I will mention what they call the Triclinium( 1st century roman dining room copy) they left the space vacant so you could appreciate the intricate geometric marble desings on the floor and walls as well as the grapevine painted ceiling.I could go on and on.
Many, many years ago I had the opportunity to visit the Getty Mansion. It's really quite extraordinary. Not bad for a starter home, huh?!!!
Endre - I do know how beautiful it look there.
