So I could be wrong, it's happened before. Or I could be impatient, or paranoid, or the casualty of a internet glitch. But I don't think so.

I think I've been black-listed from making comments on BloodhoundBlog.com.

Which is kind of funny, cuz if I am correct (and please correct me if I'm wrong) I've black-listed because of  a comment I made on a posting of Greg Swan's about the censorship of a blogger.

I don't think it was my correcting him about the definition of the term "censorship,"--though he does seem confused on that point--that got me banned, not do I think it was pointing out that what he would call satire and irony most adults would call juvenile and asinine.

No, it was simply my response to another poster who asked if anything was happening with a suit against ePerks. "Nah, the ugly duckling got his feathers ruffled," I responded. I thought nothing of it until yesterday, when I went back to Greg's blog post. My comment was gone, missing, as if it never was written.

"Huh. Strange," I thought, and proceeded to attempt a few more posts on his blog, and a few other blogs. I also attempted to add my blog to the bloodhoundblog.com list of real estate blogs.

No luck.

Apparently, and again I may be wrong, Greg Swan can dish the smack, but can't take it himself. Who wudda thought him a softy? or a bad sport? or a hypocrite, or just really insecure?

Your comments are being deleted because they are spam. Stop trying to get me to advertise your keywords. Every comment you have left had this line right above the comment box: "Leave a reply – using your name, not your keywords." If you want to engage our audience, feel free. If you want to do SEO on my nickel, get lost instead.

If you want to talk to me, I'm easy to find. If you want to slime me by being a crybaby in public, you're standing at the end of a long line of misanthropes. But I saw this because of a GoggleBot, so I won't see any reply you leave here.

Now, you know that you were mistaken.

Interestingly, you are also banned from commenting on the posts of contributing writers.  Now, this strikes me peculiar since the authors' posts are THEIR copyrighted work, not BHB.  Yet, by using the comment policy, Greg Swann is able to control the conversations on these writers' work. Brilliant.  I wonder if these contributing writers know this-- if they do and consent to it, they are NOT true owners of their work.  Ask yourself-- "What would Greg Swann do if he was asked to write on another blog and surrendered control over comments to HIS work? Answer: Greg Swann would not write in such a regime.  Neither would I. But hey, to each bloodhound his choice of chow.

You may also find it curious that the comment policy allows contributing writers (a/k/a "guests") to personally attack commenters while commenters cannot reciprocate.  Now, here's the justification.. hold on to your hat... GW is "protecting" his guests from being personally attacked.  Funny, I never took Swann for a protectionist. In fact, I thought he abhored it.  Then again, the fellow has turned more backflips than Mary Lou Retton.

In the end BHB is a whitewashed Animal Farm where all animals are equal except some animals are more equal than others. Good grief, sir.

Compare @Brian Brady  "This is Jessica's content and her property. Active Rain defined ownership of content and comments over a year ago."  Hmmm...  If BHB contributoring writers own their content don't they own their comments?  Apparently not.

It seems that the world of real estate blogging has as much drama as a soap opera.

@Brian Brady.

Nope, not yet mistaken. He's still just talking smack, just more of the same. When Swan restores the comment I made this summer then I'll know I was wrong about his inability to take criticism. Until then his comment is all quackery. Swan is making lame excuses for removing a comment that offended him. The comment this summer had no seo keywords, my target clients are not ducklings.
