The Growth Leader program from Market Leader is very exciting. Almost every day, I get an email notice on my Blackberry, telling me I have a new lead. When there is a phone number, I call them immediately. I am finding this is when they are still on my web site searching for homes. I have actually made concact with some that are very impressed that I knew so quickly and responded to their needs and requests for information.
I am finding though, that maybe around 1% of the leads have a phone
number. Half of those are not real phone numbers. The remaining people, if they don't actually answer the phone when I call, do not return my call. NOT ONE! has actually returned my call. I have had contact though, on four occassions from some that have questions through email.
How do we get them off the fence? How do we get them to meet me to look at homes? I am learning the answer to this is patience! Patience! PATIENCE! Difficult to have patience at times.....
There have been times already, where I received only three leads in a week. Also though, there are spurts there I receive one every day for a week. I also have received three and four in the same day for several days in a row.
I am looking forward to actually meeting one of these folks in the very near future. I have reported in this process that I have actually shown homes and that one has been sold. This is all true. Very early on, I was asked to promote MY current buyers, to go on here and look for homes. I have promoted this web site through Trulia, and craigs list, and on my signature in all my emails. I have generated leads myself from these sources. Through this, and asking my buyer to go to the site to search for homes, is where I have shown homes, met buyers, and actually had one sale.
I am patiently waiting to meet an actual lead generated from the Growth Leader program.
In addition, I have received NUMEROUS ( maybe as many as 12-15) realtors from all over the United States, that are calling for a recommendation on the Growth Leader program. I give them my honest opinion. I do believe though, that the opinion would be different, from a Realtor that is paying for the program. Perhaps they are unable to be as patient.
The Growth Leader program is a good one. I find their customer service department though, to be an area that needs improvement. I have yet to receive answers to my questions, now weeks old, and also, yet to receive a weekly call from anyone at Growth Leader to review my progress.
On receiving 47 leads, not counting those that I have placed on the inactive list, here is my performace evaluator.
