State Police this week stopped a car going 137 miles an hour in a 65 mph zone. 72 miles an hour over the speed limit!! The driver was ticketed for reckless driving and speeding. He is now due in court next week.
Now I might be wrong but I think that should have been handled a weeeee bit harsher. Like maybe an arrest and the removal of the license temporarily? Speeds that high should not be tolerated on roads that we, our children and our families drive on each day. That is my opinion. I like to make it home without worrying that a drag racer might demolish mine or my child's car in a split second.
