Donner Lake is one of my favorite places in the world. I love looking at it from all angles!

It would be nice to see a winter photo..i live on the east coast and our winters are really cold here and the foliage is pretty dormant..

Tamara - I may have to just pay this Donner Lake a visit, it looks very beautiful. How close is it to Tahoe?

I thought I had replied to your question about Donner Lake. It's about 15 minutes from Tahoe. Right off I80. Great access!
