Laughing! That's what's been a big surprise today to me on this educational convention trip! Myself and five other real estate agents from Keller Williams Vancouver, WA are all staying together in a beautiful townhouse in Vista Cay. We are only minutes from the Orlando Convention Center.
Robyn Phillips, Yasamine Crouse, Suzy Morrisson, Heather DeFord, Donna Beck are my Roomies. They have been a outlandish source of fun and amusement today! There have been funny moments such as taking a turn riding in the "trunk" space inside our car, Suzy acting goofy and putting a bag on her head, Robyn and Donna changing places to confuse our waiter, lots of joking around...and oh yeah, I learned two new words today that were very funny. I'm also grateful to be learning alot from these spectacular top producing women on short sales, foreclosures, REO's, listings and buyers. These ladies ROCK! It has been an honor to get to know them and see how they roll.
We listened to a fabulous talk by Gary Keller describing how the market has moved. Gary is quite funny. But I also noticed something important about him...he's a good listener. He asked great questions and listened thoughtfully to the answers. He also brought in guitarist Billy McLaughlin to tell his life story and demonstrate that tough times and failure are the most important lessons we learn.
What will I learn tomorrow as the classes begin and tumble one over another? Any suggestions of outstanding speakers to look for their classes?
Thanks for your help!
