Tampa Bay, Florida ~ Today is officially my 2 month anniversary as a Real Estate "Blogger". To think that 2 months ago I didn't even know what real estate blogging was or the benefits of writing about Clearwater and the Tampa bay area and being involved in Active Rain. now I've started to find my own voice and the Active Rain network is Amplifying it for Results!
So what have I learned...
- Blogging is a great way to let other real estate professionals and Tampa Bay area consumers get to know "ME";
- Blogging is another word for "connecting" - to real estate professionals, to real estate resources & to the Tampa Bay community in a way I would not have had a chance to do - AR allows mywriting to be amplified into the front pages of Google and beyond.
- Blogging is a great way for me to find like-minded people to work with but it is also a diverse community with lots of voices and perspectives and is a great place where I learn a little something from "everyone"
- There's always someone on Active Rain to lend me hand and help out; I just have to ask!
- That I can use "sweat equity" and earn "points" ~ Active Rain's currency for "Active Participation"
- That when I get involved, contribute in all the areas of Active Rain & Clearwater's Localism - I get rewarded in many ways - points, leads & friendships!
- Sharing this opportunity with other real estate professionals and then helping them be successful is the greatest reward. I had a lot of great role models in this department - thanks to all of you that echoed back from the "empty canyon" when I was posting and no one commented - I can tell you it's a lot more fun when you have the support of your friends, neighbors and new prospects; Yes I earn AR currency but if you do it right you make deep friendships and business relationships in the process.
- Try to give twice as many comments as you receive (10 comments for point is just the beginning - I can say I leave 20+ on average each day - because I want to support & encourage you and our community) - I've been blessed to give comments and gain relationships with people I really admire and learn from daily. It's really a reminder to always be learning from and about others - it ultimately makes me a better Realtor for my clients.
- It's a great place to find humor daily in this crazy profession called 'Real Estate"; :-)
So while I've only been featured once - I can see I'm becoming a better real estate blogger which will benefit my Tampa Bay current and future clients. I'm thankful to have had many of you subscribe to my blog and visit often - thank you because that lets me know that there are others that enjoy my blogging "voice" as well.
