Credit Report

Before you start your new house hunt:

  • Check your Credit Report and Credit Score and correct errors. What's in your Credit Report - check it for FREE
  • Credit Report - represents your actual credit history
  • Credit Score - is a number that is an interpretation of your credit history and how likely you are to repay your debt
  • Don't overspend - your housing budget should be no more than 28% of you gross income
  • Get Pre-qualified - learn how much money you can borrow and estimate the closing costs amount
  • Make a list of what you really need in the new home (necessities) and what you would like to have ('I wannas')
  • Find a good, full time Realtor who will help you with the process

It is really fun and very motivating to look at the houses. Visiting Open Houses or surfing the net surely inspires...but save yourself some disappointments and START THE PROCESS RIGHT FROM THE START!

Let's meet together and I will help you with the process...

With smiles. Your friendly Realtor,

Bo

Bo, I find it amazing that there are so many buyers that want to go look at homes, say in the $300k price range, and they have never even spoke with their bank or lender.  They have no idea how much they can really afford.  I just don't understand why people aren't interested to know how much home they can afford before they start their search.

Troy - I am surprised, too...but lots of times dreams and 'wannas' are so strong that we do what pleases us most. Humans like to get rewarded with immediate gratification and pleasure which does not necessarily follow logic or reason...this is my explanation of one of human impulses. But there is always hope and that is why educating and guiding potential clients is so emportant and necessary.

With smiles,

Bo

Hi Bo,

I'm here from Active Rain. I like the look of your outside blog. Oops. You might want to check your spelling on this one!  Good luck.  Fellow KW agent ~ Marian
