Before you start your new house hunt:
- Check your Credit Report and Credit Score and correct errors. What's in your Credit Report - check it for FREE
- Credit Report - represents your actual credit history
- Credit Score - is a number that is an interpretation of your credit history and how likely you are to repay your debt
- Don't overspend - your housing budget should be no more than 28% of you gross income
- Get Pre-qualified - learn how much money you can borrow and estimate the closing costs amount
- Make a list of what you really need in the new home (necessities) and what you would like to have ('I wannas')
