The sinventory of homes goes up in February in our area because most people wait till after the holidays to put the house on the market .

Hey Gita, great point and I think that is having an affect on the short-term trend. But the 1 year trend removes all affects of seasonal fluctuation, year end holidays having no affect.

Johnathan, when I first started blogging, I read that making comments (even no-value ones like the one you have above which is pasted all over many other blogs) would help bring me traffic. What I have found is that when you do comment spam, you are only wasting your time and if anything, making sure that nobody comes your way. Save the time and go golfing, or put some thought into your interaction here.
