Webster defines passion as *Passion meaning the Suffering of Christ between the night of the Last Supper and His death upon the cross. ...
a strong linking or devotion to some activity, object or concept
It also defnes passion as emotion, fervor, enthusiasm, zeal and ardor
passion implies energetic and unflagging pursuit of an aim, or devotion to a cause
* This according to Webster
To me.... my passion..... is in every moment of whatever the day unfolds, as agents, we can all relate to the realization that what we do in our pursuit to serve the public, we do with emotion, fervor, enthusiasm, zeal and ardor' ...... all denotes passion....to different degrees.
I have this quirk in my personality...my daughter cause it over-kill...I like to think of it as... nurturing....yes passion.
I know of no other way..... than to live my life, than with passion. My life is a gift from God.
I owe that much in appreciation for the gift of life ..... to live it with purpose and passion
as Webster defines.....unflagging pursuit of an aim, or devotion to a cause
therefore I am passionate about........
- Loving, sharing and serving ......my family and friends
- Handling the numerous details and concerns of work and needs of my clients.
- Jumping through hoops and over all the hurdles that occur throughout the day
- Enjoying my creative talents, realizing they are another gift.
- Finding a way to help those who need someone to care
- In prayer and spiritual quiet times ....needed to gather the strength to live a passion filled llife
- remembering all who have been my strength, my rock, my inspiration,my joy and my hope. I passionately love them all
- the little things... insignificant as a passion to most, but animals and nature
I must admit that there are different degrees of this passion. ...nonetheless ........ it is still passion
It doesn't matter if I am providing the best service I can give to my clients, baking a cake for the office meeting or planning a family celebration....in all things I do with passion. It is part of who I am.
I had a conversation with my daughter a few days ago....there was something she wanted me to do that she thought I would enjoy.....you know how nurturing daughters can be... I said I needed to take care of another situation concerning one of my clients. She said to me.. " all your life ..you have taken care of everyone else.....your brothers, eventually grandma and grandpa, me and dad...even in your work, you take care of people.....when is it your turn?. When are you going to take care of you "
My daughter caught me off guard with her implication,( but out of love and concern ) that my life was a sacrifice or I lived a life of a modern day martyr
On the contrary my life has been blessed and filled with joy beyond measure.
Suffering, trials and rugged times...sure like all of us,...... but with passion comes acceptance and gratitude and a sincere
appreciation of the God given - gift of life that I was meant to live ......and lived with passion.
In Zig Ziglars book " Something to Smile About" ..he .writes a quote by Helen Keller....
Life is an exciting business and most exciting when it is lived for others
I guess that would sum up my passion ...to live outside myself for others.
