Cherimie, I LOVE YOU! I could not have said it better myself. The same people that are being foreclosed on are often out to dinner a few times a week, and probably have never clipped a coupon! I am not sure how my parents taught me the value of a buck, or a work ethic... But THANKS MOM AND DAD!
This is pretty interesting, Cherimie. What are the odds that we declare war on CNN?
I agree. To many people are walking away from their homes because it is not worth more than the mortgage, these people should be on a list of "Never should be allowed to own a home ever again" Just because it is not worth what the mortgage is today, 5 years from now when the market recovers it will be. So hang in there and find away to pay your mortgage.
Cherimie,
My wife and I love to read your blogs. One day we are coming to Beaufort to take you for coffee!
I love you! Great post! About a year ago I when things got tough, I took a second job. I was hanging out with a friend of mine that has THREE jobs when we saw a news report about rising unemployment. With five jobs between the two of us...we weren't moved! Great post, great attitude! Keep it up!
Now I understand why people can't find jobs; too many people have more than one and won't share. That's unfair : )
Robert,
WHEW! I feel better. Guess everyone needs to rant on occasion. I am just fed up with the crap:)
Brian,
Thanks for reading.
Phillip,
I love coffee.
Chad,
Thanks for "getting it".
John,
It is true, I am a job hog.
Cherimie... you get more "I love you's" from your rant than most women get on Match.com! LOL
Well, I love you too! The way you put this is so spot on. In fact, I've had this very same conversation 2 separate times today! Both instances were dialogues with responsible, debt paying, hard working people who are fed up with all the "bail out BS" (their words!).
What kind of message are we sending?
Cherimie, I couldn't agree more. I can't even start! Thanks for this post. Especially the bit about EXCUSES!!!! I hate them. Just do what you say you will....like pay back your loan or whatever else you committed to!
With that said, there are many people that are in dire straights and we know that this is not directed at them!
Cherimie,
Oh so well put! What a great post! Amen!!!!!
Like you, I've worked hard all my life since age 13 with no time off for good behavior. I cringe with improper use of our tax funds to assist those because they just plain find it more rewarding to take assistance than work. I think many of us that have this same ethic are just shaking our heads at this mess.
cherimie - once again you have taken the thoughts of many and put your sweet southern spin on them. ;) ( i am surprised I didn't see a "bless your heart" in there) you are an amazing woman with a solid foundation and i admire you tremendously!
JoAnna,
I love LOVE:)
Cristal,
Thanks for commenting. I am not a ranting fool, on most days. But geeze, I don't know how much more of this crap *excuse the language* I can take!
Dori,
I like you.:)
Connie,
For the life of me, I just don't get it. I sincerely hurt for those who have know choice...but I want TO HURT those who do....wow, I am mean.
Leesa,
Honey, I was Blessing Hearts all day yesterday...trust me. I was on a roll.
