This week I wanted to share one of my favorite Restaurants. If you were a fan of "Cheers", then this is your place...
The Royal Oak in Blue Jay California.
The atmosphere is old "Tavern" style, the food is great steaks and seafood.
If you like great piano playing and sing-a-longs, join in on Friday and Saturdays, as Steve Lawless belts it out... and if you are inclined to sing, well nobody will care if you can't carry a tune.
Hours of operation are Monday ~ Saturday 4PM (Bar opens) and 5PM for the restaurant, they are closed on Sundays.
If you want a great value for "Early Bird Dinners" check out their specials before 6PM. My favorite item on the menu is their Veal Scallopini, excellent, or just an order of Steamed Clams...
