I received an email from NAR today asking for all realtors to email thier congressman from the link provided for in the email. It was a call to action from NAR for HR 1427. This bill addresses the problem with the recent foreclosure prblem.
Please go read the bill and then go to www.realtor.org and send your congress man or woman an email. Let them know we are paying attention and are dedicated to the betterment of our industry. If you agree with the Bill or not let them hear your voice.
We all enjoy the good times in our industry and we all suffer through the bad times. So we should all get involved in some form or fashion. If we all stand up and fight for what is right and not just sit there on our fat tushes (I can talk cause I have a fat one) we can change the direction of our country. I am not going to get all political but I will say I am a proud conservative but we do need to let the folks in Washington know how we feel.
