We have our full list of weekly hosts:

For all the Apprentices that want to participate* in the Carnival of Project Blogger, the next steps are super easy:

1. Choose one article that you think is your favorite for this week and send it to Justin Smith before midnight on Friday, the 11th of May.
2. Justin's email is info(at)hismove.com - replace (at) with @.
3. Visit Justin's blog: www.hismove.com/blog on Monday, May 14th to see if you were selected to the Top 5.
4. Rinse and repeat each week for the respective host.

Have Fun & Blog On!

I'm so EXCITED!  Just a quick note, on week 7 entries should be emailed  to projectblogger(at)successrealtyga.com - that way nothing gets lost in the huge pile of stuff I receive and my "other blog" where I'll be hosting is www.allaboutathensga.com

Thanks for the opportunity!

Michelle,

We're fired up to have you on the roster.

Come week 7, we'll be able to let all the apprentices know who and where to send their articles to...
A quick note of advice, I would not publish your email in a public forum as you have in the comment above.
There are spammers that have programs looking for the '@' and harvesting addresses for spam campaigns.
Rewrite it to read: projectblogger(at)successrealtyga.com

Sounds like a good plan... I'll be ready to go in about 2 months :) Give me some time to prepare :) Curious to see how many of the project bloggers will participate. Did you ever inquire how many thought they would submit?

What about people playing along at home? Why can't the Non-apprentice Bloggers Group join the fun? There are some amazing bloggers there!

Teri,

The bloggers in the Non Apprentice group should use the main real estate blogging carnival:

www.CarnivalOfRealEstate.com - they can have a ton of fun there.

Angie,

I was going to have an email out to them to make sure they were aware of the event and guidelines.  I will keep the gang posted.

Just wanted to check in on the carnival. The last post I've seen was from June 5th for Betsy Talbot's write up of week 4. I'm kind of losing track of my weeks. Are posts 5 and 6 out yet? Is this going to be Michelle's week now? Or has this fizzled out?

Here's what has happened. It seems that as many as half of the contestants are no longer really participating in the carnival.  We were getting between 4-6 entries each week - and it isn't much of a carnival to post the Top 5 if there weren't even 5 to post.

It was a good effort, I believe, to get some enthusiasm behind the contest, but as recent weeks have shown in not only the interest of the carnival, but more noticeably in the contest itself, it may have been futile.

So - unless you (weekly hosts) can rally the participation of the a waning group, I don't know that there will be enough interest by the contestants to play along... oh well.

makes sense. It is a really long contest. Probably would have kept the excitement up a little higher if it was shorter and .... all the other stuff that's being written in blogs over :) Thanks for the update though.

Hi All,

I actually would have continued participating, but really lost track of who to send what to and when to do it.   Also, my primary focus has been creating posts here or on my site Route66Living.com and then when I have extra time on the Internet, I am reading what others have written so I don't spend a whole lot of time revisiting what I have done when there is so much to learn from others.

I quite agree that it has been a very long road with regard to Project Blogger, but derailed me most of all with regard to the carnival was having to pick a favorite piece of mine to submit.  Personally, I would rather have the carnival hosts pick what they liked best and why.

Take care all, help lots of people and have a wonderful day,

Tisza

I think this is supposed to be my week...what do you say guys?  If it is"my" week, I would love to see your personal favorite post for this week, if at least some of you are willing to participate.  I'm almost scared to try to revive this after seeing the "real" judge evicerated last week, lol.

Hi Michelle,

I totally understand how you feel, frankly I will be amazed if they can find anyone who is willing to step up to that plate.  As for this one, what dates do you want pieces from?  I actually sent in a piece and had it disqualified because it was out of date (a common occurrence as my Southern California clock is three hours behind east coast and two hours behind AR time) and where should we send 'um.

Take care, help lots of people and have a wonderful day,

Tisza

I had a comment written but deleted it before hitting the post button. Do you see how much I've learned from Thurs to today!!? ;)

Michelle, I adore you- it ain't personal, but stick a fork in me.

Teri,

I share and feel your pain!  If it weren't for the fact that it is Michelle, I would just focus on PB and my Route66Living.com sites and leave everything else alone.  To bastardize a Gone With The Wind quote, "I've done had enuf of this judging... you just tell my family I am ready to come home"

Ladies, I appreciate your willingness to participate!  I just spoke with Jim and he says to let it go because we are down to so few active participants that it is no longer a true carnival.  I was really looking forward to it and again appreciate that at least some of you were willing to play!

Teri - you have my heartfelt sympathy over last week, it's hard to make imagine how you felt and there is no real way to make reparations for being left out of the line up.

Tisza - thanks for thinking enough of me to want my opinion.

I have learned a tremendous amount from all the active Apprentices and coaches!  The end is near...hang in there!
