Marchel,

I better not let my daughter see the horses or she will want to move there!  Your pictures do a great job of capturing this community.

Great looking community and I'm very familiar with several of the builders. It would be a lovely place to live. Curious, what happened to the Horse Farm?

The owners of the original Gleannloch Farms relocated their breeding operation to Barksdale, TX, many years ago (late 1970s?) and kept the Spring, TX, location as a show/training stable. The entire herd of Egyptian horses was dispersed in 1992 and the wife died in 1993. Today the farm breeds Piedmontese cattle in Barksdale.

Kristin,  Thanks for letting us know what happend to the owners of Gleannloch Farms.  I wondered what had happened to them.  I wonder if the Egyptian horses being dispersed was just so sad that the wife died?  I'm not sure what Piedmontese cattle are.  I guess I need to check that out.  They did leave a beautful legacy as Gleannloch Farms is a premier community.
