Lots of white fluffy snow for skiing, snowsledding and yes, shoveling off roofs and plowing yards.

Yesterday was stormy and school got canceled. 26 inches of snow Orient..in the Grand Lake region. Some power outages in Southern Maine. Today is crystal clear, crisp air and everyone dug out and moving forward with a Maine winter.  Another little package from Jack Frost's snow installment maybe before the week is out. But would you rather go from air conditioned space to refrigerated space in a hot hot place or put on a pair of boots, mittens, hat and a warm coat to head outside for winter recreation on a sunshine filled day in Maine?/ Maine winter fun...it's the next exit down the road of life. Come for a day, stay a lifetime. For Maine winter tourist maine real estate broker owner, andrew mooers mooers realty, houlton maineoptions visit this nifty website.

Call me crazy too...there is nothing like being on top of a mountain, and then leaning forward to ski down after looking out over all creation..I can not do humidity and feel sick from muggy weather.  Thanks for stopping in Jim! Still have your Canadian brown bread and beans on Saturday nights? Isn't that a Canadian tradition?

I love the four seasons - even the snow, but moderation is the key! I remember watching my Dad shoveling snow off our roof outside of Chicago - late 1970's. Great winter memories - bet the kids loved having the day off to play!

Hi Andrew~ Wow! 26 inches of snow is a lot of snow!  We would be paralyzed for days here if that happened to us!  I am originally from PA so don't mind the snow at all!
