Wekiwa Springs State Park

Wekiwa Springs State Park is a 7,000 acre Florida State Park in Apopka, Florida. It is located at the headwaters of the Wekiva River, the beautiful views in the park offer a glimpse of what Central Florida looked like when Timucuan Indians fished and hunted these lands.

Wekiwa Springs offers visitors the opportunity to relax in a natural setting, enjoy a picnic, or take a swim in the cool spring. Kayakers and canoeists can paddle along the Wekiva River and Rock Springs Run. Thirteen miles of trails provide opportunities for hiking, horseback riding and bicycling. Camping is available at a full facility campground or primitive camping areas. Kayak and canoe rentals are available.
