Harvey West Auctioneers has posted a trustee sale for the townhome at 409 Phelps Place, Gaithersburg 20878 for March 11,2009 at 10:00 AM.  The required deposit is $25,000 by cash or certified funds. This property is not being offered for inspection.

Trustee sales are open to the public and all qualified bidders. Prospective buyers should carefully read the newspaper advertisement for the terms and conditions. The Washington Post advertisement is scheduled to appear again on March 2 and 9. The defaulted mortgage loan is in the amount of $400,000.

In the current market, a high percentage of the homes sold at trustee sale auctions at the court house steps are purchased by the secured mortgage lenders. The lenders then offer the properties for sale when they become part of the REO inventory.
