A street of six lake-oriented custom homes on Daniel Island's Smythe Park neighborhood will be the site for a special event showcasing Charleston art, architecture, gardens and outdoor living. Artwork from six renowned local art galleries will be on display in each of the newly-constructed homes. Also on display will be innovative landscape and garden designs, coupled with exterior architectural concepts.
This unique event will benefit two Lowcountry organizations dedicated to housing and the arts. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the East Cooper Habitat for Humanity, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International that provides housing assistance to people in need east of the Cooper River. In addition, ten percent of the proceeds form the sale of artwork during the event will benefit the Gibbs Museum of Art.
