Title Insurance, Who Needs it?

In our sales meeting today we had a discussion about title insurance. So, I thought I would shed some light on Title insurance. Did you know it's optional? Only for the buyer's coverage? The bank always requires it to cover the amount of the loan. When you go to closing on your new home, the settlement officer or attorney will (or should) ask you if you want it. Now the question is, should you get it? I always explain it this way to my clients, do you want to risk losing your house over a few hundred bucks? It's a gamble that you may not want to take. Bob, so nice to see you back. I liked your outside blog too =) I explain it the same way to my clients. It is optional but worth the money.

Thanks Maggie. I had to take a sebatical to absorb the info and start fresh new blog. Tool Boy (Turner) was throwing out too many neat gadgets and I went in to overload. Good to be back.

Yeah, the Turner has that effect on people. I run for cover every time I see his face jump to the top of my subscription list! I've got a list as long as my arm of things to try because of him. I see you haven't added his latest...Meez. They're pretty neat. Fun, quick and no learning curve involved.
