The La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation (LCFEF) was founded in 1978, with the purpose of raising money to assist the schools with programs and education. To date, the Foundation has raised over $15 million for the La Canada Unified School District.

Among their fund raising events are:
- Wine & Gourmet Food Tasting
- Major Donor Reception
- Golf Tournament
- Jog-A-Thon
- Spring Gala - this year's 18th Annual Spring Gala - “Livin’ La Vida Loca” - will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena (formerly the Ritz-Carlton).
