Proof that It Works!!!

Hi Everybody---just wanted to share a story with you all---

I GOT MY FIRST REFERRAL FROM ACTIVE RAIN....YAYYYYYYYYYYYY :)

I just thought I'd let everyone know, that there is a great benefit to us all by using this website..to those who are THINKING about writing something, and not sure---DO IT! aside from learning from one another, and hearing different points of view, its amazing when a referral comes along. Other agents talked about the income producing possibilities that were to be found here....Now,I haven't finished my profile...I don't think Im utilizing this website to the fullest, but wow!! now i will definitely stick to this and keep going...

Everyone says that they love it and get alot from it.

I was wondering....do you have any tips on how to get people to read your blog? How do you "tag" your blog to get traffic?

What other tips might you have that you are willing to pass on would be REALLY greatly appreciated.

I'm ashamed to admit this but have been reading all this great stuff for sometime and never gave anything back. After reading about short sales I believe I could actually add some insight, but it was your post telling of getting your 1st referral that is spuring me on tonight.... so I feel like a need a primer here telling what to do from the very first to get started as a blogger, poster and everything else I need to do to be an active Active Rain agent!! Referrals are great, aren't they. We took a break from ActiveRain for several months, that's until a referal from ActiveRain came in. At that point we decided we needed to be more regular in participating here. ;)

Christianne G, Simon M., Castellum Realty, Jason N., and Anthony R.---No secret sauce here lol, I have been actively looking on AR for referrals...my business depends on them so every chance I get I do check the referrral boards,in this case I received an email when the referral was posted, and responded IMMEDIATELY...but i guess its what everyone says, just stick to it and its bound to happen.I've heard it from so many agents, agents who have proven success--Erin Attardi--and really there's no reason NOT to do this... on that note...

Alisa--i clicked the TAG link while I was working on my blog, it took me to a page on this site where I found many great tips on tags...the most important part was figuring out what a tag is! In a few words, i can tell you that they should be short, sweet, and relevant to your blog...hope it helps but if not let me know and I'll point you to that page...
