Snow is so much prettier when it's falling while you're warm and secure inside. Unfortunately once the plows and salt trucks arrive, that beauty disappears rapidly.
That first good snow is wonderful - ESPECIALLY when you can get off from work and school and play in it!!
Hi Rich! We haven't seen too much snow in my area this winter- mostly rain. This is a pretty shot, is that your garden I see in the background? I'm sure you are looking forward to spring.
I can feel the quiet! Thank you from your friendly Floridian.........

Rich,
I wouild guess thqat to be Knoxville, except you live in Atlanta. Has it snowed there recently? Pretty photo nonetheless
Bo
How I would love a good snow every now and then. My children have seen it a couple of times. Makes me wish I were there.
I am guessing you dont usually get snow? This looks like an everyday event in Wisconsin LOL
Love the look of it - but please keep the snow in your kneck of the woods.
Richard - We don't really get enough to have snow plows but we do have salt trucks. This was one morning, and by late afternoon much of it has already melted!
Steve - Snow Days are the BEST!
Debbie - We haven't really got a lot of snow either. It seems to snow in the morning and melt by lunchtime! Yep that is the garden; I can't wait for spring!
Lisa - Glad you liked it, thanks.
Diane - There is a definitely a serene quality watching the snow.
Debi - Especially with a hot coffee, cocoa, or cider!
Bo - I do live in Knoxville, since May of last year!
Terri - Though it isn't cold here like Wisconsin or Massachusetts, it is still cold to me. I lived in southern Florida for five years and became quite accustomed to the warmth. Long weekend trips to colder climates will give you the fix you need.
Pat - Not that sticks around. I did live for three very young years, think kindergarten, in Appleton, Wisconsin and I remember the huge snow banks the plows would create. As a kid they were the best!
Carol - Yep! Like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting.
Time and Pam - Supposed to be in the mid 60's tomorrow. Weather here is all over the map.
That's a site I AM familiar with Rich....you are quite the photographer btw.
P.S. I am looking forward to your gardening posts in the Spring...I am going to be a little more creative this year with mine, you are an inspiration.
Rebecca - I am so not a fan of snow! I can't wait for spring and the garden. I look forward to posts about your garden, with pictures! BTW, my chickens have been producing 50-60 eggs per week! Yep, I'm supplying neighbors and family with FREE, fresh organic eggs!
