Very colorful pictures of the sunset. Thanks for sharing...
Your building consultant for life in the Fairview, TN area - Michael
Hi Jesse! Glad you're returning soon--can't WAIT to hear what the 'surprise' is!! Hey, great photos too--I just love your North Pole Sunset & Fiery Sunset photos! You truly do have a knack for capturing Alaskan beauty!!
What awesome photos...14 degrees, almost a heat wave!! ;} Looking forward to find out what you and your lovely bride have been up to!!
Thanks for the sunset Jesse. I loved this line "The good news is we're to the point of seeing a light at the of the tunnel... and I'm pretty sure it's not a train. :)" Have a great day my friend!
Look for a post on this soon, but for now I'll just say it's a good thing to...
You can't post that and expect us all to wait patiently! If anything you have learned that WE AREN'T patient! thanks so much for the pics - you always take BEAUTIFUL photos of your area!
Hey Jesse - Paddy and Leesa said it for me.....OK then, we'll just have to sit and wait.....impatiently! Glorious sunset, I suppose having a one-hour sunset in your area would signal the coming of spring. Very cool clicking to see the image larger.....how did you do that??????
Those are fantastic pictures Jesse, but I do have to admit, in 14 degree weather I would have to have seen that vie from inside the house. Though I am sure with your Winters that's not a bad temp for you guys.
Awesome pictures Jesse. Sitting outside in 14 degree temps is like sitting in the freezer of my fridge.
Geeez!!!!!
What was in the cocoa?
Hi Jesse~ Those photos are amazing. I actually have been to Alaska by cruise in 1988 and stopping points off the ship. None of the photos I took did it any justice. It really is a beautiful place! Please hurry up and tell us what the surprise is, don't keep us waiting.......
Yeah, I wouldn't be sitting in the snow under a blanket, even if that hot cocoa was spiked with Jack Daniels. I'd be freezing my tootsies off. But that's clearly a gorgeous sunset. OK, maybe I'd sit in the car with the heater running and watch it. I'm such a wuss. That's how I go ice fishing, too . . . hey, can you park the car a little closer to the hole in the ice and crank stick my line out the window vent?
LOL @ Elizabeth, that's me!
Beautiful photos. I bet a person could spend a month visiting all of the wonderful things Alaska has to offer and not even get a start.
I love Fairbanks, espcially in the summer...ha ha I would not be sitting out in 14 degree weather...but my goodness God creates a beautiful canvas for us. Thanks for sharing,
Jesse - I finally did my own blog banner for my outside blog. Still have the one you did for me on the AR blog.
Jesse, these are spectacular! Here you are, at the top of the world...sitting outside in the snow? Nahhhhh....I'm with Elizabeth. Maybe a hole at the bottom of the car? ;-) It is in the high 70's and beautiful today. Course you can brag when we are experiencing 115 degrees here. ;-)
My friend thos are some wonderful photos. I can hardly wait to read about what it is that you have been working on.
Lovely photos Jesse! I love that in your world 14 degrees means it's time to think about Spring!! Lol! Can't wait to read the blog post about what you have in the works.
The photos are beautiful and I'm glad you see the light at the end of the tunnel. But 14 degrees? I'd have to watch from my couch.
Again amazing pictures. You guys are the best enjoying hot chocolate under a blanket. Best of all you always seem to enjoy each other. How cool. Hope you realize you have what many only hope for.
Hi Jesse...Here I was thinking of sitting down on the dock tomorrow. We're supposed to have sunny weather with temperature in the 60s. It takes that to get me out there.
You two are hardy folks.
Take care and hurry with that surprise you have in store for us. You must know how curious you made us with that dastardly hint.
Kate
Hi Jesse...The more I think about your photos the more I think you should publish a coffee table book filled with them. If you autograph one I'll buy it.
Just a thought.
Kate
Wow - and I thought MikeInTucson had great photos of sunsets & sunrises. You should post a few in the Spectacular Sunrises & Sunsets Group to share with us!
