14 Comments on Less than Six Degrees...How the Rapidly Shrinking Human Web is Changing Real Estate!
Hi Lola, Wow that was nice that you could meet more of the people here in the Rain. I bet it is a lot easier walking into that room knowing you have some friends instead of all strangers. When you blog you are putting yourself out there so when you meet people that know you from your blogging they really know you already:)
Teresa, what's really interesting is whether you're meeting in person or talking on the phone, it's so comfortable. The 'ah ha' moment for me was when I realized that this may be how people who I help with real estate feel after they've read blogs. It really is remarkable. BTW, I've not met all these individuals personally, some of them I've had great conversations with on the phone.
Lola
I would think that is a great return on your investment

Lola you have VASTLY grown in connectivity!! Reminds me of the scripture... "your GIFTS will make room for you and place you before GREAT men"! Had you any idea you'd soar to such heights in the Rain & the world of blogging? ... AND the most remarkable part of it, is that you've have maintained your integrity and respect through it all! (so proud of you)
Lola, I just love the way you write. The words dance across the page like emotions. I can feel your sincerity. I have not yet shared your experience, but I know that eventually I will. I love reading these kinds of stories about friendships that have sprouted.
Lola,
Great post..I do believe you are right..and the world is shrinking!! And that is a good thing!
Lola, so good to see you again and meet your husband. That was the BEST Con Ed class I have ever taken. You Rock ! I have had one person sign up for AR under me from the class. We need to figure out a way when we teach we can get some points. LOL.
Lola, the answer to your final question is certainly YES for me, and there is no way I would have made the connections that I have if it were not for blogging.
The faces on the comments connect me to the active bloggers so I feel like I know them better every time I see them. We are just one little happy family.
Hi Lola,
Truly, it is amazing how the e-web connects us all and promotes positive changes. Thank you for your e-influence on me!
Remember how we used to say that the internet opened up a whole new world to us? Well, that has certainly changed and now it is that blogging has opened up a whole new world to us. It's absolutely wonderful to get to know so many people who, like you, I probably never would have met had it not been for blogging!

Lola - I continue to be amazed at the number of people I have gotten to know rather well in the last several years, something which I never expected. And the special bonus is talking to them, or even better, meeting them in person at events I have attended around the country. Truly the world of social media is becoming an amzaing way to establish and maintain a wide range of relationships. Who'da thought?

Lola, there are certain advantages and disadvantages to the six degrees of separation. My favorite joke about Pueblo is everyone knows each other and everyone is related to each other and they all deny it! And there is no need to pick up the yellow pages - I guarantee you've got everyone you need in your phone. The disadvantage to all of that is - you know everyone.
Lola,
Great to meet you and your husband at the "Gathering". Wonderful reviews of your course and I see that the blog almost takes on a life of it's own.
