I'm Working On A Mega Post For The Next Eye Candy Contest: Local History

I'm reading like crazy because our next one is going to go historical. We're doing landmarks people and we have to site our sources for the factual trivia surrounding the category you select and the geographical location that puppy is sitting in. I want only original content so make sure you take your own photographs and video for this event. If you purchase a graphic to make it interesting, make sure you have the correct copyright permissions to go along with the project.

This one is for Localism. I want you to write as if you are doing a feature presentation. Give me your best shot. The facts have to be correct and I am asking for a minimum of five facts.

[While you speculate on what I'm about to cook up, I'm going into Manhattan to pick out some particularly nice buildings with interesting statues for the graphics to showcase our next eye candy contest. I need a huge flag and know just the building to get my red-white-and-blue on (LOL). I have to dig up a founding father or two as well. There are a couple of cool Presidents around that might be useful... :-) ]

Stay tuned for the next Club Chaos photography and video project. This one is gonna be mad fun, so start plotting where you want to take us in your neighborhoods and go visit the library to get your facts straight. That's right ladies and gentlemen, you have some patriotic homework to do to go along with your landmarks (LOL). Go get 'er done...

The next eye candy contest will be hosted by Club Chaos (by invitation only) in league with Local History (public), Diary of a Realtor (public), Fraiche Air (public) and Positive Attitude for the Weary Soul (public). If you haven't done so yet you need to go join the public partners if you want to play because posting your entry to those groups so we can find you will be a mandatory requirement. The Official contest post will be syndicated to the five where you will also be required to post your link to earn your entry points...

We will chat more about this later. I have judges to solicit (LOL).

BTW: I WANT MY VIDEO! Seriously... we had two open slots last time. TWO! That is sooo not cool people. Don't be lazy. Get busy with those flip phones an handycams. Go borrow one if you have to. I want digital film!!!!!

You guys know how I feel about my eye candy. :-)

James, very true. I get interesting e-mails all of the time. Never know where any of it is going to go until we get there. :-) I hope you come out and play with us. This one should be very interesting (LOL).

C-Sally-C, it's gonna be all about going hyper-local in your own backyard. I'm thinking I may take a trip upstate to where George Washington left his mark. I picked up some great shots in Manhattan of some very cool statues. ;-)

Terrie, more information will be coming shortly. My pals are trying to get me to "not be too wordy with the rules" (LOL). We are hammering out the details over the phone and will be calling back ad forth a bit more before I get the final draft done (LOL). We will be doing our usual, running two contests at the same time. One for photography and one for video (LOL).
