Allied Industries invests $2.1M in Union County
Allied Industries International Inc. has located its new production facility in Jonesville, a $2.1 million investment expected to generate 35 jobs. Allied Industries purchased the former Weave Tex building to house the company's manufacturing operation.
Independence National Bank expands to Simpsonville
Independence National Bank chief executive Larry Miller says that opening a new branch office in Simpsonville today was a "natural" move for his three-year-old Greenville-based bank, despite the fact that Greenville County is the most heavily banked and competitive market in the state.
Copart expands footprint in South Carolina
Copart Inc., a California-based company that auctions used and salvage vehicles, is opening its second facility in Greer. The 22-acre greenfield site will serve the northwest corner of the state, decreasing cycle times and reducing storage and fuel costs for customers
