WOW! All you need is a libarary card and visit www.ccls.org and click on the "Free Downloadable eAudiobooks and Videos" look through the digital media catalog. Check out items for 14 days ; up to 8 titles .
These eAudiobooks can be downloaded to your computer whether on a Windows PC or Mac, depending in it's file format (WMA and MP3). Next you can transfer it to a portable device like an IPOD or Itouch or Iphone. I used mine recently on a flight back from a conference in Florida.
Free software for supported PC's, Macs, laptops and PDA's are available from the site.
