9 Comments on Old Depot in Beebe AR, a town that still has a lot of character.
Barbara, I rode a train recently and love the platforms and the stations. This one in Beebe has that special charm to it.
What a great old train station. Your posts are great as usual!
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
Gary, did you go through small towns and see old depots. I'll bet that was interesting. I've always loved the looks of the old depots, probably because of the overhanging roofs.
Charles, thanks for reading my posts!!
Barbara,
Speaking of going back. There is a new drivein opening near here, where they are going back to waitresses on roller skates.
Steve, that will take a skilled waiter or waitress to run around on roller skates. Is it a Sonic? They are all over this area but the car-hops (remember that term?) are not on skates. You order from a microphone and a real live person brings the food and you can eat in your car.
It looks almost the same. Except of course the more recent picture is in color!
James, I like the black and white picture better, don't you.
Barbara - I love old train depots, it's great to see that it still looks almost unchanged today.
Mike, thanks for visiting my train depot! They have always fascinated me.
