Are your business goals big? I mean, really big? With all of the formulas and plans available today, we should all have goals and dreams bigger than ever. Look, the people who have came before us in the Real Estate world have left a road map. They stepped on the land mines and turned down the dead ends, so we don't have to. Think of the time we can save and even more amazing the sanity we can keep. Now don't for one minute believe, you can't be you. That's the great thing, you are free to be you more than ever, because the time consuming and mundane have already been researched and laid out in advance. If you are just getting started in Real Estate, you would be well served to invest a few dollars in some reading material. Start with "The Millionaire Real Estate Agent" by Gary Keller. This book alone will give you more ways to make it in the Real Estate business than you can imagine. Just read it a couple of chapters at a time and let it soak in. On the surface it may look complicated as a whole body of work, but trust me, when broken down, it is very rewarding and simple. I for one, love road maps or a real good navigation system. So if you would look at a map to go somewhere, then why wouldn't you do the very same for your business. It amazes me every day that agents will invest 4 to 6 hundred dollars in a navigation system to help them find an address, but not a dime on a navigation system for their business plan. I trust a map; because, that means someone did the hard work ahead of me and for me. I also trust the map for my business for the very same reason. I plan and set very big goals because, it's easy to follow someone else's map. Try it; you will be surprised how fast you get to where you're going with a good map!
