Here are the latest statistics for Sacramento County through January 2009.  They continue to look encouraging as far as number of sales vs. previous year.  However, prices continue to lag behind.  The additional link goes to a webpage, that provides statistical 4 county data, which includes Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer, and Yuba.  I hope this helps!

ToulaRosebrock.comHi Myrl:

Interesting numbers.

Looks like there are still, ups and downs in your market there.

I know you've been busy, hoping it continues to pick up for you!

Hi Myrl, $101,000 difference in price from 2007 to 2008 and just a $63,000 difference from 2008 to 2009. Interesting. We also had that big drop first, and then a slower decline in prices.  Take care and have a great weekend!

For eight consecutive months, sales have been up and prices down here in San Diego County. Great news for us, and I look for more of the same in the coming months since almost 50% of San Diego County households can now afford to buy a home, up from just 7% a mere two years ago.
