For The past few days, for some reason I have been zeroing in on avatars...

Don't ask me why..but it must have been a few blog posts I've read...that left a lasting impression on me.

Maybe it wasn't the post..maybe someone I feel I know or I can relate to...based on their face..or the avatar which represents them.

Remember one thing...we are all consumers!

View Your Avatar Like A Consumer!

A few of my personal favorites...

I will say it seems that many who blog...let it all hang out..I don't mean..physically...I mean when they write from the heart..with their words...they share a whole lot about themselves.

Once I read the title, then the article, I am so compelled to look at their avatar and the next thing I know I am reading more posts...reading their profile and trying to find out more about this person and before I know it...

I subscribe-I am a consumer!

I am a visual person...beauty is in the eye of the beholder..the beholder being a consumer..it's important to leave a lasting impression..everyone sees differently and I just wonder when looking at our avatars what do people see?

You're absolutely right Midori! Your avatar is one more way to show people a little more of what you're like. I just switched to using my logo version since the photo now shows up in comments.

I find that posts not only touch my heart but open an understanding of the person who wrote.  It is a connection I love to make and a blog I'll become a frequent visitor.

Midori....I just changed pictures and it generated a comment from someone...so who says people don't notice.

Just as long as they are current! That's what's important.

I guess some people like the picture with me and the boy more than the logo...

What do you think?  Do I need a new avatar?  I was thinking that I could do one that is just half of my face.....

You're so right. I know I need a knew business photo. The one I'm using now is just a frame I pulled from a video. I LOVED my old photo! But I got a new hair cut =(  I like my new hair cut, but I have to wait for the weather to get warmer, so I can get another photo in front of some really full, green bushes. I always want my photo taken outside. I like to see green behind me. =)

I personally am always more drawn to a photo than an avatar. Keep your photo baby:)

Mine is probably more formal...than the real me but I do look like my picture! People usually remark that like my picture I am usually in a good mood but I am also more laid back than first appearances.HA HA! I love TLW's avatar, she is ballsy and gets away with it because she is also genuine! First impressions are still important!

Midori- I too have been drawn to reading about the writer's of the blogs...and you are right...it can certainly lead you down a path as you learn more about the person.  What a great opportunity for the consumer as they begin to know us...and for us as we work with people who want to work with us!

Midori...

You probably know, I don't care what the Consumer thinks of my avatar. I think I'm going to start mixing it up. How about me holding my smokin' 38? :)
