Hi all! I am asked ALL the time for referrals for real estate VAs. I know that I have seen a great gal over here who talks about REVAs but did not bookmark her site as I don't actively do real estate...shame on me!!!

So REVAs - here is your chance for a free-for-all! What are your specialities? What works really well on a VA basis. Please feel free to link to your site or add any info that will help realtors understand the benefits of using a VA. Once we have the info I will fix this post so that I can send a link when someone asks...:)

Thanks Tara

Tara - thanks so much for contacting me through my Active Rain profile and telling me to come over to your post and comment :-)  I have been a virtual assistant specializing in real estate support services for 9 years this March!  I love working with agents so much that I finally became one myself so that I could even better understand what they need and how they work.  I have worked onsite in a real estate office for my longest standing client as well, so I have a very well rounded background.  Feel free to check out my profile by clicking on my signature link, and thanks again, Tara!

Hi Tara~ I'm Laura Monroe, and I'm the founder of the AR Group Real Estate Virtual Assistants. There are tons of things that a REVA can do for real estate agents. You can check out my blog further, but one series I did has been extremely helpful for VA's and RE Professionals alike:

Real Estate Virtual Assistants: The Ultimate Guide

And since you are a fellow KW Rainer here is a post specific to KW:)

The Virtual Assistant and the Millionaire Real Estate Agent

If there is anything I can help you with be sure to let me know:)

Tara, this is an interesting topic. It would be great to work with a REVA but at this point, we like being able to see the person. I think as we get used to working with an assistant - we just hired our first a few months ago - then we would be more comfortable with remote assistance. Thanks for writing this post!

Hi Sharon!!! I am totally divided on this - I think that Realtors need someone there to do faxing and paper shuffling BUT there are LOTS of things that a VA could do (like loading listings and closing stuff) that it doesn't make sense to pay someone full time to do as it is only needed when you get a new listing or something under contract.

Hi Tara!

This has become more and more popular a topic lately as many of the industry "leaders" are promoting utilizing the services of a Virtual Assistant.  There are plenty of hesitations on the part of agents regarding partnering with a VA including, but certainly not limited to, fees being generally significantly higher than an in-house assistant, not having someone in the office that they can see, control issues, and feeling as though you can't afford a VA.  All of these issues and more can easily be rectified with the right VA.

I've recently discussed this same topic on another post.  Lots of questions about using a VA, etc. are discussed on Sheldon Neal's post here.

Like Laura's, my own blog has several posts about working with a VA, what to expect, tasks they can complete for you and more.  I'm also more than happy to answer any specific questions you may have about Virtual Assistance, working with a VA, selecting the right VA for you, fees, and more.  Just holler!

I'll monitor this post to see if any specific questions arise.  Have a great day!
