I joined Active Rain on March 4, 2008. I started at a really rapid pace. I was a machine cranking out 10 posts a week and making 10 comments a day.
I have slowed down from that pace but still in a little under a year I have been able to reach 150,000 point mark. Points do matter. I had a closing in December and the buyer found me on Active Range and basically said they picked me because they were impressed with the points I had...plus I worked in the area they were looking.
My business continues to grow even at a time when most peoples business is shrinking. Active Rain is a big part of that. Not because I get a lot of sales off of hear right now. Mostly I see each post I write as a seed to my success. The more seeds I plant the more God or the universe can supply me. So I keep planting here on Active Rain and elsewhere.
