This is just one example of why you want to have any home that was 'Recently Remodeled" inspected by a professional. This rehab was done by a Realtor. You would think that a Realtor would have know that permits were required and that the would was required to be performed by a licensed contractor(s).

Walls were moved, electric added, and plumbing added. The washer and new tub did not have vents for the drains. No pictures because they were missing.

But here is one of a plumbing fitting installed upside down. I know other violations are here but the upside down fitting is the one that the amateur can see.

I know that you have seen worse than this. And people still want to save a few hundred bucks and not get an inspection.

All types of homes should be inspected before the sale is finalized. I've seen many "newly remodeled" homes with a variety of issues. Always hire a qualified inspector to find those hidden problems.

That fitting was probably on sale that day, or they were in a hurry. Hey, haste makes waste! LOL
