In my readings of this week I came across these few simple words that touched me.
When I say "touched" I mean they stopped me for a moment and made me think. When this happens I knew these are the words that I should share here.
So... Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers here in the Rain... and to your Mothers who taught you to be.

Hmm, beating children with a string???? I never heard that one befor! (lol).
Boy, Craig...I think my kids would totally agree with this quote...However, I suspect that depending on the situation they'd alternate between judging this as fortuitous or unfortunate! :)

Last year my kids made me breakfast in bed (with hubbies help) when I put the knife to the pancakes they ran - I mean ran - there was batter all over the plate. Those pancakes were black as pitch on the outside and pure batter inside. They were all looking at me with those huge expectant eyes waiting for me to take a bite. OH man, it was gross. The things you do for those little buggers.

Great blog Craig, I think sometimes we take our Mom's for granted Every morning when I wake up I call to say HEY...I remember when my mother in law passed away my sister in law would say how she would forget that she was gone and would pick up the phone to talk to her.
Let us all appreciate our loved ones while we have the time to do so

As for me being a mother- there are no words to translate the feeling no other children on this earth I would rather have than the two I was blessed with. God has a way of matching people up doesnt he ??!
Chris, my heart goes out to the family that has to bury a child. May we all beable to watch our children grow and age into the golden years with us..and yes, I too home my two feel I have earned a nice bed in a nice joint for my efforts in making thier lives full. Maybe we can all meet up late in life in some comfy nursing home and laugh at all the time we spent blogging ! By then they will probably have chips implanted under the skin with a good wi-fi conection and a head piece will have a tiny screen for the computer. Watch sized keypads on our wrists....
