We just wrapped up week one of our renovation of 4408 Grandview in South Kansas City. The last time I saw this house was 2 months ago I still remembered the layout but I forgot about all the open space in this house. Whoever ends up buying this house will be getting a lot of house for the money.
You can always tell which house on the street is ours. Here’s a hint. It’s the one with a huge green trash dumpster.
I love all the open space in this house. This is a shot of what will become the living room and dining room. As you can see the tear out has been started.
This is a shot of the kitchen. Looks like we will have lots of good cabinet space here.
We will be finishing the basement on this house which adds even more space to an already very large home. To the right of this picture will be a full bath. To the right will be both a bedroom and a second kitchen. The rest of this room will be more living space.
This is a shot of the downstairs kitchen. We’ve never done a house with two kitchens. In fact the only house we’ve done bigger than this was the 7 bedroom house we did in Grandview, MO.
We’re shooting for wrapping up this renovation sometime in April.
