Well you must read the previous blog about my persnickity buyer.  Well, thought I had the problem solved.

Took them out today to see four homes, the second home met all their needs in terms of space, location to work (walking or bike distance), 3 car garage, 2504 sq. feet, beautiful fenced yard that faced West, Olympic Mountain View, Sunsets view, mint condition, lower level accessible for her business, even boat parking (yes we are "buying a home for the boat")!

Made an appointment to write an offer tomorrow. Well, just got the dreaded call "we are in the neighborhood and it's in the flight pattern for the Boeing airport that is just used for testing Boeing jets. All the past several houses they viewed were in the same neighborhood.  Mrs. Buyer says "I don't think we are ready to make an offer just yet.  We want to come here and sit for several hours and have lunch and see what the noise is like during the day".  I quickly reminded her that that particular location (which husband works in!) would have noise from the occasional planes. I also told her that if they bought a million dollar home on the Sound they would have rail road tracks in their back yard!

If they bought on the other side of the freeway, the emissions is too drastic and the noise is too bad.

OK, now my patience is weaning. I think it's time to cut the rip cord and let them loose with someone else.

Mind you I've only been showing since December, every weekend, takes one hour per house to look at.

OK, done, off my soap box and back to work. Need to sell some of my listings and concentrate on my other buyers.

Karen , I can smell the runner from your wheels spinning! Hope they don't bump their heads when the cord is cut!

Don't get impatient if you let them go they will end up going to someone else and probably buying a home you showed them.

My Dear Karen, I feel for you. Hope you really like being with them...

I just read 455 and thought this might be the one. How about finding other buyers who want the same kind of house and letting Mr and Mrs No Buying  know about the others. ( Of course, you must have the buyers to make this statement). In fact you now know 456 properties and could specialize in selling these homes.

Keep us posted.

Sounds like their professional shoppers afraid to pull the trigger. I'm not sure why it takes 1 hour per house. Most people have a feel after a few minutes. They only spend a lot of time when they are truly interested. I hope the time your spending with them is not taking away from the opportunity of working with someone who may be closer to making a decision.

Alan, good point, sometimes we can't see the forest for the trees. I just emailed them the positive facts about this home and current comps, information from the listing agent about a possible annexation to a more "upscale" neighborhood and a note from me that I've been making people happy for 25 years and I know this is their home. We'll see.

I was unsure about your title but now I get it - too bad your buyers don't! You'd think they would be tired of looking at all these homes; it gets weary. It also gets overwhelming. Can't wait to hear how this all plays out...
