From 70 Degrees To Snowing In 48 Hours That's Kansas City

By
Real Estate Agent with Vizion KC

If you would’ve told me on Thursday that on Saturday it was going to snow I may have thought you were crazy.  I distictly remember saying on Thursday that the snow season was over.  Boy was I wrong.

When I stepped outside this morning the last thing I expected to see next to an alien spacecraft was snow.  In fact considering how the weather had been over the past week an alien space craft may have made more sense.   Naturally about half of my clients canceled their appointments with me today due to the snow.

The snow

Incase you coudn’t tell I’m not a big fan of snow.  I’m not even a small fan of snow.  I like seeing snow on television or in photo books just not in my front yard.  Snow makes things like driving difficult and since I drive a lot I prefer to drive without difficulties.  I guess at least I’m thankful that by the time I woke up the streets had been cleared.  Some what.

Reminds me of the weather we had the week of Christmas.  -30 degree wind chills on the Saturday before Xmas, 72 the Saturday after.  That's over 100 degrees difference!

Stay safe in the snow and I hope your spring comes soon :)

Hi Justin.  65 here in central SC today and we are in a winter weather advisory for tomorrow for 1-3".  Even though I know 1-3 is an annoyance up north (I spent many years in the snow belt while in the AF) it is a big event here.  We'll see what happens.

Wow! I bet your landscaping is confused. I recall a similar occurance years ago in Birmingham. The shrubs had started spring blooms and then got snowed on/frozen.

You get used to the roller coaster weather when you live in Kansas or Missouri.  On the bright side, it's supposed to warm up everyday this week.

Hi Justin—After living several years in Hawaii, I'm afraid I share your opinion of snow. I think its pretty to look at, but I want the ice, snow and slush to disappear quickly. Cool pics!
