Well what do you know? It snowed in March in Newnan Georgia!

Starr's Mill in snowstorm by Richard WeisserI wrote a post this morning: Crazy weather continues in Newnan Georgia ...but this is ridiculous! In which I was surprised at snowfall predictions in significant amounts. Since it was nearly 70 degrees yesterday, I doubted it!

But I was wrong. It snowed to beat the band! There were times when it was snowing so hard you couldn't see across the street. So of course, I did what any good trooper would do ... I went out and took photos!

So the snow came, I got some good shots, and all is well in Newnan Georgia! And even though I scoffed at the weather prognosticators, it turns out that this time they were right on the money!

Richard, You are truly a dedicated photographer who looks at awful weather as an opportunity to create art. Those are beautiful! And I see a little sunlight beaming on your home sweet home.

We escaped snow today, (I was hoping for a little for photograpic purposes).. but its been a pretty awful February weather wise!

I enjoyed my short lived white stuff south of you, down at Lake Sinclair.  I too grabbed my camera and ran out to take some photos as who knows how many years before we get that chance again.  As always your photos are just beautiful Richard.  Thanks for sharing them.

They weren't on the money here. It was called for 1-3 inches and we got ZERO! My kids were looking forward to a white Monday. No School anyhow.

This part of what I like about MN.  The weather is varied and so is the scenery.  A bit harsh at times, but we really love it when it turns green again!

Richard:   Love your house!  And I love that railroad pic.  We got dumped on with that snowstorm too.  It's nice to actually get snow, but March is an odd time to get it.

Richard, these photos are lovely.   I really like top 2 and would frame the top one... it would be a big seller up here in historical Chester County!  I miss you Richard... I feel like we've been two ships passing in the night.  We must get the group together for a good hijacking... maybe this weekend.

Richard, Great photos! I especially love the railroad tracks--a beautiful winter wonderland! I was so surprised when we got snow here too in Bethlehem--Georgia hasn't seen snow in quite some time, it was fun and I enjoyed taking a few pictures as well!

Have a great day,

Anne Rains

Richard, Wow, that railroad pic is unbelievable! So, you're a Burgh boy, haha. I am from Aliquippa, PA. I've been in Myrtle Beach since 1980. That Georgia snow had to remind you of PA.
