Fire sweeps through condo community

Earlier today a fire broke out in the Murano condos community in the popular master planned community of Silverado Ranch in Las Vegas. The community is engulfed in flames and fire has gone to "3" alarms. A neighboring CVS pharmacy is being threatened by the fire. There is no word yet on the cause of the fire at this time.

Because of the severity of the fire, the surrounding streets have been closed. Murano was still under construction at the time. It looks like the entire project may have been destroyed. -Charles

I hope they got the people out. That is a really sad report.

How terrible! Was it occupied? Fire is my greatest fear...

From what I understand, the community wasn't finished yet. The aerial pictures on the news showed just how devastating the fire was. Makes me wonder if the project will be rebuilt or scrapped. -Charles

i was at the south point hotel down the road on las vegas blvb and then i seen the fire and so we went near the fire and the road was closed and then we got out of the car wand walk down the side walk at the hole side of the cvs was a fire and the sign
